Withdrawal notice
For consumers under the Fern- und Auswärtsgeschäfte-Gesetz (FAGG, the Austrian act on distance and off-premises contracts, which implements Directive 2011/83/EU). Last updated: 22 September 2026
This is a translation provided for convenience. The legally binding version is the German Widerrufsbelehrung; if the two differ, the German version prevails. Kumpari is operated by a sole proprietor in Austria, and Austrian law applies. Austrian statutes are cited by their original names with a short explanation in brackets, because they have no exact English equivalents.
This text is a template, not legal advice. Review and approval are a matter for legal counsel or the Gründerservice of the Wirtschaftskammer (start-up service of the Austrian Economic Chamber; free for sole proprietors). Kumpari currently has no paid features; this notice applies as soon as any are offered.
What this notice covers
Kumpari can be used free of charge. For the planned additional tier “Kumpari Pro” (as a subscription or as a one-off purchase), the following applies:
- Purchase via Google Play or the Apple App Store: Processing, invoicing and refunds are handled by the respective store under its terms. Direct withdrawals and refund requests to the store; we will gladly help you with that.
- Purchase via the website: The contracting party is [the operator named in the legal notice / or the commissioned payment processor (“merchant of record”) – decide before launch]. For contracts you conclude directly with us, the following notice applies.
Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day of the conclusion of the contract.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us –
Erik Che Kreinbucher (Miktoya)Gaugerichtsweg 13a, 6832 Sulz, Austria
Email: support@kumpari.com
– of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. by email or by post). You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
If you requested that a service (e.g. a subscription) begin during the withdrawal period, you shall pay us an amount which is in proportion to what has been provided until you have communicated to us your withdrawal from this contract, in comparison with the full coverage of the contract.
Early expiry of the right of withdrawal
For digital content that is not supplied on a tangible medium (e.g. the one-off purchase of Kumpari Pro), the right of withdrawal expires under §18 para. 1 no. 11 FAGG if
- you have expressly consented to us beginning performance of the contract before the withdrawal period has expired,
- you have acknowledged that you lose your right of withdrawal by giving this consent, and
- we have provided you with a confirmation of the contract including this consent on a durable medium (e.g. by email or as a purchase receipt in the app).
For services (e.g. a subscription), the right of withdrawal expires under §18 para. 1 no. 1 FAGG if we have fully performed the service at your express request and you acknowledged beforehand that you lose your right of withdrawal as a result.
How we obtain this consent
Before every purchase in the web application we show a checkbox that is not pre-ticked, with the following text:
“I expressly request that Kumpari Pro be activated immediately, and I acknowledge that I thereby lose my right of withdrawal.”
Without this confirmation, Kumpari Pro is activated only after the withdrawal period has expired. We send you the confirmation together with the purchase confirmation.
